MISSIONS/MINISTRY PROCESS
Students
feeling led into missions or ministry will be highly
encouraged to participate in the AXIS MISSIONS/MINISTRY
PROCESS. These students will be challenged and encouraged
to experience missions and ministry on local, national and
international levels.

-school
campus
-other local opportunities
2)
National
3) International
*Minimum of one national or international trip a year.
Many of the local, national and international opportunities
will be experienced via the Missions department/ministry of
First West. These students will be under the direct
leadership, counsel and advisement of the Missions Pastor
and the Student Pastor.
There are also collections of books these students need to
read through this process. These books will be challenging
and eye opening. They will give the student a more complete
awareness and education of missions and ministry.
The students involved in this process will meet with their
missions/ministry advisor during the months of August,
January and May for advising. The advisor will review where
they are, what they have read and how they are being
challenged. The advisor will check off what they have
accomplished the previous semester and advise them in what
books to read and possible mission trips to participate in
the new semester.
